The Learning Curve

Three of my friends were gracious enough to let me practice on their sweet babies and kids. I have along way to go, but each time I learn something new about the light source, camera settings and positioning of my willing, not so willing models!!! Thanks T, K and S!!! You have beautiful children!!!!!

Photo Homework

My friend invited me to take a photography class with her. (Thanks Tash!!) For those who know me well, know how much I LOVE to take pictures. I have always wanted to learn how to actually use the settings on my camera, positioning and lighting. Saturday we had a lighting class. When I returned home, I was sooo excited to photograph any willing subjects. The following pictures have not been photoshopped. They are raw photos. I even had Dad OT shoot a pic of me. Fun, Fun!!!

Sweet Goodbyes

Saturday morning my mom left to meet up with my father for their long journey to their new home out of country. We truly enjoyed our visit with them. We are excited to hear of their many fun adventures. The boys will really miss them, but know someday they will be back!!!!

A "Band of Brothers"

It is not often that guys have a connection with one another. I am grateful for Dad OT's "Band of Brother's". They are truly awesome guys who love and support one another. It is a bonus that they have awesome wives too!!!! We sure hear some great stories each time we get together. A couple of weeks ago, we unfortunately said good-bye to one of Dad OT's best friends. They have moved out of state for a work assignment. We will miss them, but know the bond will continue to be strong!!!!

FAMILY REUNION!!!!

This week we have been playing with Mom OT's family at a family reunion. We have had a great week thus far!!! The Tot's have had an incredible time playing with cousins, watching movies, a train ride and a big slide and roller coaster down a mountain. Such a FUN time!!!!!! The adults have had a great time watching movies, making jewelry, talking and laughing. We will sure miss everyone when they are gone!!!!
