Game On!!!

Tonight was a BLAST.....of old memories. I have the great pleasure of working with the young women in our church ages 12-18. Tonight me and my fellow YW leaders were able to root our YW on in our Stake Basketball Tournament. They played hard, looked AWESOME in their 80's attire, but unfortunatley did not win. We sure had a GREAT time cheering them on!!! It brought back the memories of the days gone!!! It was sooo fun to cheer our teams on! I can't wait until the day I can cheer my boys on, but I will be sure to leave the cheer uniform at home!!!

Another One Bites the Dust....

Tot 1 has been working on his right front tooth. He lost the left front in December, but could not quite get the right one to fall out. Until today!!! Our good friends and neighbors were gracious enough to have the boys over while I attended a church meeting this AM. Last night their son had teased Tot 1 that he should have his dad pull out his tooth. So this morning Dr. N accomplished the task. Thanks R! Tot 1 can't wait for another visit from the tooth fairy tonight!!!

Snowshoe Adventure

Two of my adventurous friends, K and N, graciously invited me to go on a snowshoe hike with them today near our homes. Since I had just broke in my new snowshoes last weekend, I thought I was a pro! Little did I know I would need to stop multiple times to reduce my heart rate so it was not pounding, but with K leading the way, we made it!!! It was soo beautiful! I am again in awe with the beauty just right out our back doors. I feel so blessed to live in our beautiful valley. We did come across ALOT of cougar tracks. Thank goodness we did not see one. One thing I did learn....I need to get my tail end back in the gym!!!! Thanks for the fun hike! Thanks T for watching the kidos!!!

Albuquerque, New Mexico

I got the chance to actually travel with work this week. I went to New Mexico to one of our new buildings to help set-up their Rehab program. I was busy the two days I was there, but was able to drive through the Old Town on my way to the airport last evening. I enjoyed my short stay, especially the YUMMY Mexican food!!!! Though it was weird to eat alone at restaurant, no kids, no friends, no hubby. I was happy to be home! Thanks to all who helped with the kidos!!

Valentine's Day Adventure

We were delighted to be invited to a cabin with friends for an overnight adventure. We went up Friday afternoon to Alta and met R and D there for our fun adventure. We packed everything on our back, including the food, clothes, snowshoes, etc, put our skis on and off we went. It was a little challenging getting on the lift trying to manage the backpack and kids, but we did it. Thank goodness we have GREAT little skiers!! We went up two lifts and skied down to the cabin in the middle of the resort. It was tucked away in a BEAUTIFUL gully. We had a great time away from the cares of the world. It was so peaceful and relaxing to just sit and visit, play games and eating YUMMY food!!

Today we went on a snowshoe hike where R introduced the Tots to climbing up snow covered boulders and sliding down. The Tots could not get enough of it. As the snow fell and we were treking through the snow, the beauty was breathtaking. The snow covered trees, the untouched snow, the gentleness of the snow falling. When we got back to the cabin, Dad OT dug a snow cave on the roof of the cabin, R made a fun "pretend house" on the roof by clearing pathways with a snow shovel and the Tots managed to find a "snow slide" off the roof. We ate lunch, visited and packed up and skied back down to our car. It will truly be memorable!!! The Tots did not want to leave. Thank you D and R for being GREAT host and inviting us to your incredible treasure!!!

Grandma Visits!!!

Mom OT's Mom came to visit from China. The Tots have been sooo excited anticipating her arrival. They love to read and play games with her. Their favorite game...Bob the Builder. It is a special game she brings when she comes and also brings her tag-a-long, Curious George. We LOVE when GRANDMA comes!!!!

Crazy Ski Day!!!

Today, we went skiing with Dad OT's sister and family. It was super fun!!! The Tot's once again did an awesome job! The resort we went to was HUGE. It has 22 lifts. We skied all over the mountain. The day went fast seeing new terrain each run. The weather was great until lunch....we came out and it was snowing like CRAZY with poor visibility. The Tot's are getting good at catching some air too. It is so fun to see the Tot's improve each time we go! It wont be long until they will our ski their parents!!!
