TODAY......

I have been trying to blog weekly on what we have been up to for the week or a special event, since I am not a good journal keeper. This past week was one of those weeks with not too much excitement or happenings. Same old, same old. I know this next week with all the excitement of Halloween will produce more writable happenings.




Tot 2's new found pet. I have no clue where he got his pal, but he sure carries it around everywhere!!!! The poor kid needs a real pet!!!




Notice the pure excitement on Tot 1's face about having to do his homework before snack. He actually is pretty self motivated and it is the first thing he does without being asked.

HALLOWEEN.....Practice?

Confession time.....I have had our Halloween decorations up since September. The boys and I were so excited for the holiday this year. Tot 2 informed me that unfortunately we are not the scariest house. He said, "Next year, mom, right!" Their enthusiasm is infectious which makes everything so much fun!!!!








We have had the Tots costumes for months now and they have been begging me to put them on. We have had some quite interesting "adventures" the past two weeks as they play out their roles of a Power Ranger and Peter Pan. The Tots can't wait for the "Big Night"!!! As we were taking pics of the Tots, Tot 2 all of a sudden had to go to the "john", not wait a minute, but at that moment!! I couldn't help my self and snap a quick pick before helping the Power Ranger to the "john".

I have a friend that lives in Reno, NV that tagged me to blog about the fourth photo album on our computer, fourth picture. So here it is........(we just got a new computer earlier this year, so the pic is not that old.)



Tot 1 was having Dad OT remove his training wheels and was soooo excited to be a "two wheeling" biker!!!! He actually did awesome that day and has been Mr. Speed Dirt biker since!!!

FHE Hike

For FHE Monday night we went on a hike. Fall is definitely here and almost gone!!! I'm sure winter is coming shortly. You can feel that crispness in the air. Bring on the SNOW!!!! Can't wait to ski this year!!! Let's hope that mother nature provides enough white stuff to make it happen!

BREATHTAKING!!!

Last night, as I finished cleaning up from dinner and getting Dad OT off to his meeting, I looked out our kitchen window and saw this beautiful sunset. It truly took my breath away. I had to run out and snap a pic!!! I LOVE where we live. We have such beauty around us that I am grateful for on a daily basis!!

The GRASS is GREENER....

THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME!!! After many months of Dad OT working on our yard, we were ready to sod. We had a lovely 9,000 square feet of sod delivered yesterday. Unfortunately, Dad OT had to work Friday, so we were unable to start until about 5:30 PM. The weather reports were predicting a huge cold front and storm to roll in Friday night, but lucky for us it did not hit until Saturday AM. We did finish about 11:30 PM Friday. Dad OT's brothers, a neighbor who is just starting to build his home and another friend in the neighborhood thankfully helped. Thanks to T for keeping us going and helping us finish into the late night!!!

Beautiful Nature!!!

Last week I had the great opportunity to go on a hike and view some of the amazing foliage we have in our neck of the woods!!! It was sooo incredible. The company was great too!
